NewJeans’ hit track “How Sweet” has surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify.

ADOR, the group’s agency, announced on Thursday that “How Sweet” had amassed 300,362,152 streams on the global music streaming platform as of July 25. This milestone marks NewJeans’ ninth song to achieve over 300 million streams.

Released on May 24, 2024, “How Sweet” blends hip-hop rhythms with Miami Bass influences. The track quickly climbed to the top of major South Korean music charts, including Melon, Genie, and Bugs. It also maintained a 13-week streak on the U.S. Billboard Global 200 chart.

NewJeans’ songs have collectively garnered approximately 8 billion streams on Spotify. “Ditto” and “OMG” have each exceeded 900 million streams, while “Super Shy” has surpassed 800 million and “Hype Boy” has topped 700 million. Both “New Jeans” and “Attention” have crossed the 500 million mark, with “ETA” breaking 400 million streams.

NewJeans burst onto the K-pop scene in July 2022 with their debut single “Attention.” They’ve since captivated audiences worldwide with hits like “Hype Boy,” “Ditto,” “OMG,” and “Super Shy.” Recently, the group celebrated their fourth anniversary by releasing a video featuring members Minji, Hani, Hyein, and Haerin, fueling excitement for their upcoming comeback.
