Soyeon from K-pop sensation i-dle is gearing up for her solo comeback after a five-year and two-month hiatus.

The powerhouse vocalist and rapper is set to drop her new solo project in early September. This marks her first solo release since her debut mini-album Windy, which hit the charts in July 2021.

As the creative force behind i-dle, Soyeon has been the mastermind of their chart-topping hits including “TOMBOY,” “Nxde,” “Queencard,” and “Fate.” Her musical prowess earned her full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2024, and this year, i-dle secured a spot on Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 Asia list.

Under her producer alias icebluerabbit, Soyeon collaborated on the January digital single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater).” She also wowed fans with a surprise performance of her solo track “ICE BLUE RABBIT” during the group’s 2026 world tour Syncopation. Soyeon has been expanding her musical horizons through collaborations with global artists, including rapper Odettari and Grammy Award winner Anderson .Paak.

Fresh off the success of i-dle’s fourth world tour and a show-stopping performance at Lollapalooza in the U.S., Soyeon continues to dominate the stage. She recently delivered a knockout live set on EBS’s “EBS SPACE” on Tuesday and is slated to bring her electrifying performance to Waterbomb Sokcho 2026 on August 22.

Since their debut in 2018, i-dle has taken the K-pop world by storm with hits like “TOMBOY,” “Fate,” “Queencard,” “Nxde,” “Latata,” “Lion,” and “Hwaa.” The group will wrap up their current world tour with two finale shows at the Galaxy Arena in Macau on August 29 and 30, giving fans one last chance to catch them live before their next chapter unfolds.
