K-pop sensation izna wowed fans with a surprise performance in the heart of Tokyo’s bustling Shinjuku district.

The six-member girl group, consisting of Mai, Bang Jeemin, Koko, Ryu Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, and Jeong Sae-bi, dropped the music video for their latest banger “Dumb Hot!” on Wednesday via their official YouTube channel. The track serves as the lead single from their Japanese debut mini-album Handle with Care.

Coinciding with the release, izna orchestrated a countdown event in Shinjuku’s main square, drawing throngs of eager fans who had been anticipating the group’s Japanese debut. The music video premiere on a massive light-emitting diode (LED) screen had the crowd buzzing with excitement.

Taking center stage, izna shared their thoughts on breaking into the Japanese market, fostering an intimate connection with their local fanbase.

The girls then set the venue ablaze with electrifying debut performances of “Dumb Hot!” and the Japanese version of their hit “Sign,” leaving fans in a frenzy.

izna, formed through Mnet’s reality competition “I-LAND2,” made their official debut in 2024. Since then, they’ve been making waves with releases like “Sign,” “izna,” and “Mamma Mia.”
