Yuju, a member of girl group GFRIEND and a solo singer, will return with a solo release in October.
According to her agency AT AREA on Sept. 29, Yuju will release her fourth mini album, “File. 07,” at 6 p.m. Oct. 14 through various online music platforms.
Yuju released a coming-soon image and a prologue film on her official social media accounts the previous day. The prologue film showed Yuju immersed in the songwriting process and introduced the theme of the new album as “incompletion.”
“File. 07” is Yuju’s first mini album in about a year and two months since she released her third mini album, “In Bloom,” in August last year. It is her second new release of the year following the single “First Love Is a Curse” in April.
Yuju debuted as a member of GFRIEND in 2015 and served as the group’s main vocalist. In 2022, she launched her solo career with her first mini album, “REC.,” and its title track “Play.”
