N.Flying, which has moved beyond its reverse-charting success to establish itself as a band with sustained momentum, is returning this fall with a new release aimed at capturing listeners’ emotions.

N.Flying will release all tracks from its ninth mini album “Still” and the music video for its title track “Still” through various music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 8th.

Since debuting in 2015, N.Flying has steadily established itself as a “band you can trust to deliver” and a “hit-song powerhouse” through consistent musical activity. In 2019, the band sparked a reverse-charting phenomenon with “Rooftop,” the title track of its FLY HIGH PROJECT, and in 2023, it once again climbed the charts with “Blue Moon.” It later demonstrated its solid musical standing by achieving sustained chart success with “Into You.”

The band’s momentum has continued this year as well. “Flashback,” a track from its first full-length album released in 2021, was rediscovered and entered Melon’s Top 100, leading the band to perform the song on music shows. In August, its 2019 track “Autumn Dream” topped Bugs’ real-time chart, once again demonstrating the enduring power of good music that transcends generations.

N.Flying’s ninth mini album “Still,” which follows the band’s continuous growth, tells a story about what ultimately remains even as time passes. Lee Seung-hyub participated in writing and composing every track, while Yoo Hwe-seung also contributed to the album, adding to the band’s signature sincerity and rich musical identity.

The title track “Still” is a rock song distinguished by its weighty rhythm section and lyrical guitar riffs. It originated from an actual conversation between Lee Seung-hyub and Seo Dong-sung and was born from the process of looking back on themselves after feeling exhausted. Pointing to the lyric “The sky is red today,” Lee Seung-hyub said, “Just as the lyrics were written with the thought that this moment we are feeling now will become the hottest moment once it passes, I hope you can fully feel the present.” Cha Hun also expressed his particular affection for the song, saying, “At first, I expressed a slightly lonely feeling with the guitar, and by the end, I expressed the embers beginning to burn again.”

The new album is particularly anticipated because it was created through deep interaction with fans. N.Flying previously performed the title track “Still” and the B-side “Fading Away” for the first time during its nationwide tour, receiving an enthusiastic response. Kim Jae-hyun recalled, “After the final part of ‘Still,’ even though the song had ended, the silence continued for a long time as if everyone had stopped breathing, and I felt that our sincerity had reached them.” Yoo Hwe-seung shared his emotions at the time, saying, “Singing in front of the fans with the feelings we had put into the song made me even more overwhelmed and emotional.”

As Seo Dong-sung said, “I hope this becomes an opportunity to make the passion that had been cooling down burn brightly once again,” the album fully conveys N.Flying’s sincerity, which continues to radiate warmth without being extinguished even as time passes.

With N.Flying beginning full-scale music show promotions on the 8th, starting with Mnet’s “M Countdown,” expectations are high for the passionate “Still” the band will bring to listeners.
