The group Cortis is set to make their debut appearance on Japan’s Fuji TV year-end music special, the 2026 FNS Music Festival.

Big Hit Music, Cortis’ agency, announced that the group – consisting of Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyun, and Geonho – has been added to the lineup for the first day of the live broadcast on December 2.

This year’s FNS Music Festival will be aired live in two parts, on December 2 and December 9. Cortis will share the stage on the opening night with other notable acts including Snow Man, Number A, Stray Kids, Baby Monster, and I-LAND.

Cortis has been making significant strides in the Japanese music and performance market this year. Their mini-album GREENGREEN, released in May, topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking and peaked at No. 2 in the weekly album rankings. The album also secured the 4th spot on Billboard Japan’s Comprehensive Album Chart Hot Albums.

GREENGREEN has achieved a milestone in Japan, surpassing 100,000 cumulative shipments and earning a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. In the U.S., the album debuted at an impressive No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and maintained its position for 18 consecutive weeks.

The group has also been making waves with their live performances. Cortis recently concluded their first Japanese tour, PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN, at the Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa. The tour, which ran from September 4 to 6, consisted of three shows, all of which were sold out according to Big Hit Music.

Cortis first caught the public’s attention in August of last year with their pre-release track “What You Want,” followed by their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES in September. The group distinguishes itself through a collaborative creation process, with all members actively participating in music composition, choreography, and video production.
