In September, North Korea ramped up its emphasis on the activities of the leader Kim Jong Un, aiming to inspire patriotism among its citizens.
On Monday, North Korea’s state media, Rodong Sinmun, reported, “September was a significant month in the history of the Republic’s development, showcasing how the dignity and strength of Juche Korea continue to rise on the world stage.”
The publication acknowledged the challenges posed by what it described as “imperialist efforts” to disrupt the nation’s progress. It praised Kim’s leadership during the 76th anniversary of the regime’s establishment, lauding his “unwavering conviction and iron will.”
The report detailed Kim’s initiatives for flood relief, the Local Development 20X10 Policy implementation by the Korean People’s Army’s 124th Regiment, and his inspections of military academies and nuclear research facilities. According to the newspaper, these actions provide “an irreversible guarantee for the nation’s prosperity.”
The Rodong Sinmun also stressed that bolstering the military’s ability to address regional security threats and defend national sovereignty remains the Party and government’s top priority.
North Korea’s overview of Kim’s activities and promotion of September’s achievements seem to reinforce patriotism and loyalty among citizens and improve performance in the remaining months of the year.
The publication concluded with a rallying message: “The world will clearly witness the achievements and victories of our united people, which will shine in this glorious”s era.”
