The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Workers’ Party of Korea, reported on its front pages that Kim conducted on-site inspections of key military industrial facilities under the Second Economic Committee. During his visit, Kim examined shell production capabilities and expansion efforts, urging workers to produce more shells to contribute to strengthening our armed forces.

It also advised officials that while leadership and mobilization skills are important, the most essential quality is compassion, emphasizing the need for warmth and gentleness when dealing with people.
