North Korea celebrated the 77th anniversary of its founding with a flag-raising ceremony and a central oath-taking event, during which Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party, stirred the patriotism and loyalty of the people.

The party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported on its front page on September 12 that the revered image of the beloved General Secretary, who is leading a new era of great victory and transformation for socialist Korea, stands as the eternal portrait of a great patriot, elevating our cherished homeland to the status of the most sacred and respected entity in the world.

The newspaper urged to carry the great patriotic spirit of the esteemed General Secretary in their hearts. Further, to follow him with unwavering purity in the patriotism and boundless loyalty to the homeland.

On page 2, an article titled, The Unchanging Course that Guarantees the Steady Advance of the Revolution, emphasized that more than four decades have passed since the party unveiled its comprehensive strategy for socialism and communism. This strategy focuses on strengthening the people’s government, enhancing its functions and roles, and fully implementing the three revolutions in ideology, technology, and culture.

Page 3 reported that rural development is a critical initiative that demands top priority and deep attention. The newspaper stressed that the fundamental task is the modernization and civilization of rural areas.

In the same section, the newspaper cited a draft decision displayed at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, stating that the significance of party decisions neither diminishes with the passage of time nor fades with the silencing of gunfire. It added that regardless of generational changes, the core principle that party members hold party decisions as sacrosanct must never waver.

An article on page 4 titled, Loyalty to the Party and the State, advised that no matter where you are or what you do, never forget for a moment that you are a citizen of a powerful and dignified republic, and serve the party and the homeland faithfully.

Page 5 reported that the Advancement of Agricultural Science Research Bases is actively progressing. The cabinet, the National Planning Commission, and other ministries and central agencies are vigorously supporting the construction of agricultural science research facilities.

On page 6, the newspaper criticized Japan, stating that Japan continues to emerge as a malignant force undermining regional peace.It further noted that the fact that Japan, a nation with a militaristic past, has remilitarized is undeniable. Finally, adding that this dangerous trend is increasingly becoming one of the primary factors exacerbating the threat to regional peace as time goes on.
