North Korea is actively conducting educational programs for students during their winter break.

On Monday, the Korean Central News Agency reported that educational institutions in Pyongyang are investing considerable effort in educating and guiding students during the winter vacation period.

The agency highlighted that teachers at Kim Sung Joo Elementary School are methodically working to develop students’ creativity, critical thinking, and imagination.

Educators at Sangsin Elementary School in the Seosung District are fulfilling their duties by regularly assessing students’ comprehension of previously learned material and their self-study progress through textbooks and reference materials.

At Daesin Elementary School in the Dongdaewon District, teachers are systematically planning home visits to ensure close collaboration between parents and the school in educating and guiding children.

The agency further reported that various educational institutions, including Ganseong Elementary School in the Pyeongcheon District, are intensifying efforts to prepare students to become future leaders. These efforts focus on cultivating well-rounded knowledge, strong moral character, and robust physical health.

North Korea prioritizes the development of future generations, dedicating significant resources to youth education. Some analysts suggest that the regime, wary of young people’s exposure to external influences, is strengthening ideological control over the younger generation through tailored educational programs.
