The Workers’ Party of Korea’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported on its front page on Monday that a successful commemorative performance for International Women’s Day was held at the Pyongyang Gymnasium. The paper noted that Kim Jong Un, along with his wife Ri Sol-ju and their children, attended the event. Kim delivered a congratulatory speech to women nationwide, expressing that he extends his deepest gratitude to all Korean women, the unwavering pillars of the revolution, for their exceptional dedication.
On page 2, the newspaper covered the central report meeting for the 116th anniversary of International Women’s Day, emphasizing women’s contributions to building socialism. The report highlighted that the dignity and status of the women have reached new heights in the Kim era.
