The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of North Korea’s Workers’ Party, reported on Wednesday that expanded plenary meetings of the Party committees of the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Land, Maritime, and Transport, the Pyongyang Construction Committee, the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports were held to thoroughly implement the programmatic tasks set forth in the historic policy speech delivered by Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly / Rodong Sinmun
The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of North Korea’s Workers’ Party, reported on Wednesday that expanded plenary meetings of the Party committees of the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Land, Maritime, and Transport, the Pyongyang Construction Committee, the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports were held to thoroughly implement the programmatic tasks set forth in the historic policy speech delivered by Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly / Rodong Sinmun

North Korea is developing detailed plans across various sectors including railways, shipping, construction, science, culture, and sports to achieve the objectives set forth at the first meeting of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

The party’s official newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported on Wednesday that expanded meetings of the Party Committees were held for the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, the Pyongyang Construction Committee, the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Sports. These meetings aimed to thoroughly implement the programmatic tasks outlined in the historic policy speech delivered by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the first session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly.

The newspaper stated that the meetings involved in-depth discussions on draft resolutions. These resolutions reflected strategic measures necessary for successfully achieving sector-specific goals while adhering to the three revolutions of ideology, technology, and culture as the unwavering general line of socialist construction.

The Ministry of Railways emphasized ensuring the safety, speed, and efficiency of rail transport. The Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport addressed improvements in transport capacity through the construction and modernization of ports and docks.

The Pyongyang Construction Committee discussed expanding productivity and enhancing safety, while the National Academy of Sciences presented opinions on securing the people’s basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter.

The Ministry of Culture raised issues regarding the production of new and innovative literary and artistic works, and the Ministry of Sports provided input on public sports initiatives.

The meetings adopted finalized resolutions from each agency. The newspaper reported that these resolutions were adopted amid the participants’ fervent commitment to responsibly fulfill their duties, fully aware of the trust and expectations placed upon them by the Party and the people. The participants expressed their determination to genuinely contribute to accelerating the comprehensive revival and development of the country.

The discussants pledged to bring innovative advancements in all aspects of ideology, technology, and culture, vowing to play a key role in steadfastly implementing the new five-year plan.

Following the first meeting of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly held on March 22-23, North Korea has been working to implement the national development strategy proposed at the Party’s 9th Congress through legislation, budgets, and personnel changes. They are now conducting follow-up meetings at lower levels to establish detailed plans for executing the five-year plan.
