Trump Declares Shutdown All Liberty Organization: How 750,000 Government Jobs Could Disappear

PoliticsTrump Declares Shutdown All Liberty Organization: How 750,000 Government Jobs Could Disappear

As the U.S. entered a government shutdown, President Donald Trump declared that it will eliminate all organizations and agencies created by the Democrats.

According to Reuters and other news outlets on Wednesday, Trump held a press conference in the Oval Office immediately after the shutdown began, shifting the blame onto the Democrats while making this statement.

He added that many federal employees will be laid off, and most of them will likely be Democrats.

Trump emphasized that the shutdown could pave the way for the elimination of numerous unwanted organizations and agencies, potentially yielding positive results.

The President’s new threat of layoffs is expected to intensify concerns about the instability of the federal workforce—a worry originally sparked earlier this year by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency’s push for extensive federal employee cuts.

While these may not be permanent layoffs, foreign media reports indicate that approximately 750,000 federal employees will face temporary furloughs due to the shutdown, with no pay until it concludes.
