LG Electronics announced on Monday that it will participate in the AHR EXPO 2026, North America’s largest HVAC exhibition, taking place in Las Vegas from February 2 to 4.

The company will showcase customized heating and cooling products tailored for North American homes, as well as high-efficiency commercial and industrial HVAC solutions that boast superior energy efficiency, durability, and flexibility in maintenance and installation.

LG Electronics has set up a 4,800-square-foot (447㎡) space to give visitors a hands-on experience of its comprehensive HVAC solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

For residential products, the company will introduce its lineup of Unitary Inverter Heat Pump outdoor units. These heat pumps feature refrigerant leak detection sensors for enhanced safety, combining high reliability with practicality. Their ease of installation and maintenance make them adaptable to various housing types.

The unitary system is a popular residential heating and cooling solution in North America, where single-family homes with high ceilings are common. It consists of standardized outdoor units and indoor air handlers that distribute warm or cool air throughout the home via installed ductwork.

The Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater has earned Energy Star certification for its consistent hot water supply and heating efficiency. The Tankless Gas Water Heater provides on-demand hot water without a storage tank, featuring dual stainless steel heat exchangers for high energy efficiency and insulation.

LG Electronics will also showcase a range of industrial HVAC solutions, including liquid-cooling units (CDUs) for AI data centers. LG’s CDU technology directly attaches metal cooling plates to heat-generating components like CPUs and GPUs, circulating cooling water to dissipate heat effectively.

This system requires less space and offers higher energy efficiency than traditional air-cooling methods, making it ideal for AI data centers that generate more heat than conventional ones.

At the expo, LG Electronics will unveil the Rooftop Unit, a commercial heating and cooling solution manufactured at its Huntsville, Alabama, facility. This unit maintains consistent heating performance even at temperatures as low as 23°F without a backup heater and integrates seamlessly with building automation systems.

The commercial air conditioning system LG Multi V i features a high-efficiency inverter compressor and an AI-based smart control system to improve energy efficiency. It uses the eco-friendly refrigerant R32, which has a global warming potential (GWP) about 70% lower than that of conventional R410A.

The Modular High-Efficiency Inverter Scroll Chiller (ISC) combines cutting-edge refrigeration technology with precise control. It allows up to six units (540 RT) to be connected in parallel, reducing initial investment and operating costs.

LG Electronics has also set up a dedicated exhibition booth to showcase its core component technologies, highlighting the company’s expertise in HVAC systems.
