Radiohead has expressed outrage over the unauthorized use of their music in a promotional video by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to Variety and other media outlets on February 27, Radiohead released a statement demanding that ICE’s social media managers immediately remove the video featuring their song “Let Down.”

The band emphasized that their music was used without permission, stating that this is no laughing matter. This song holds deep significance for them and many others. It’s not something that can be used at will without their consent.

Radiohead’s response was particularly vehement, with the band resorting to expletives to convey their displeasure.

Recently, ICE posted a video on social media platforms that used a choral version of “Let Down” as background music. The video featured a montage of scenes depicting alleged victims of violent crimes committed by undocumented immigrants.
