ISOLATIONIST HYSTERIA : The Mad King’s Delusional Boast That He Can Rule The World Alone

President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that the U.S. does not require assistance from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies, including South Korea, Japan, and Australia, in countering Iran’s blockade measures in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that the U.S. has been informed by most NATO allies that they will not participate in military operations against Iran’s terrorist regime in the Middle East.

He added that this is despite the fact that almost every country strongly agrees with the actions and that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons in any form.

Trump remarked that their actions don’t surprise him because he has always viewed NATO as a one-way street. It spends hundreds of billions annually to protect them, yet they do nothing, especially when it needs it most.

He continued that fortunately, it has decimated the Iranian military. Their navy, air force, air defense systems, and radar are gone. Perhaps most crucially, they’ve eliminated leadership at nearly every level, ensuring they’ll never again threaten, the Middle Eastern allies, or the world.

Trump asserted that given this military success, it no longer need or want NATO’s help. Truth be told, it never needed it to begin with.

He specifically mentioned Japan, Australia, and South Korea, emphasizing that as the Commander-in-Chief of the world’s most powerful nation, the U.S. doesn’t require anyone’s assistance.

Prior to a summit with Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin at the White House, Trump reiterated his frustration with NATO.

When questioned about efforts to persuade NATO to support escort missions for oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, Trump replied that it doesn’t really need much help. In fact, they’re in a position where it doesn’t need any assistance at all.

He noted that they’ve been closely monitoring the situation for weeks and have issued statements. While all NATO allies expressed full support, they were unwilling to provide actual assistance.

Trump stated that Iran posed a significant threat, not just to them, but to almost every NATO member. He doesn’t believe a single one of them denied that Iran was a threat.

He added that yet, if they refuse to help, he considers that extremely foolish.

Using the Ukraine conflict as an example, Trump said that they’re helping them, but they won’t help back. This is a deeply flawed situation.

When asked about potential retaliatory measures against NATO, he responded No, but it’s certainly detrimental to the partnership.

Regarding the possibility of reassessing the U.S.-NATO relationship, Trump expressed that he’s disappointed with NATO. It has invested trillions of dollars in NATO over the years, which is partly why the U.S. faces a budget deficit. It helps other nations, yet they won’t reciprocate. This is undoubtedly a serious issue that demands consideration.

However, Trump clarified that he’s not currently undertaking a formal review of the situation.
