LG Household & Health Care’s premium scalp care brand, Dr. Groot, is set to make its debut in Sephora, a leading U.S. beauty retailer, the company announced on Wednesday.

The brand will first launch on Sephora’s official online store on March 28, with plans to expand to over 400 brick-and-mortar locations across the U.S. by August.

Dr. Groot has already been building its reputation in the North American market through platforms like Amazon, TikTok, and Costco Wholesale Corporation. Last October, the brand secured a spot in about 600 Costco Wholesale Corporation stores across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This Sephora launch is part of Dr. Groot’s strategy to fast-track its presence in the mainstream North American beauty market.

Sephora will carry 18 Dr. Groot products, including the full Scalp Revitalizing Solution line, which is a bestseller in North America.

The brand’s star product, Hair Thickening Shampoo, clinched the second spot in the Hair Regrowth Shampoo category during last October’s Amazon Prime Day event. Another fan favorite, the Miracle In-Shower Treatment, has also been receiving rave reviews from American consumers.

A spokesperson for LG Household & Health Care commented that its Sephora debut is a testament to Dr. Groot’s growing brand power in North America. It is excited to leverage both online and offline channels to further cement our position as a leading K-beauty hair care brand in the region.
