On the 10th, Samsung Electronics (005930) announced that, based on data from the market research firm TraQline, it had captured a 21% market share in the U.S. home appliances market in 2023. LG Electronics followed Samsung Electronics with 19%, GE with 18%, and Whirlpool with 15%.

In terms of sales volume, Samsung Electronics also topped the charts with 19%, followed by GE with 17%, LG Electronics with 16%, and Whirlpool with 16%. Furthermore, 32% of consumers chose Samsung Electronics as the brand they consider first when purchasing home appliances.

Samsung Electronics has equipped its 2024 new Bespoke products to be unveiled in the U.S. with high-performance AI chips, cameras, and sensors. The company plans to continuously expand its market share in the U.S. appliance market by introducing new products and services upgraded with AI-based connectivity and usability.
