LG Electronics announced that on the 22nd (local time), it held an LG Life’s Good Earth Day Celebration event themed on environmental protection at its North American headquarters in New Jersey.

The event featured the opening of an on-site pollinator garden, an electronic waste collection event, and a sharing of potted bonsai plants.

LG Electronics inaugurated the Pollinator Garden within the headquarters, becoming the first Korean company to earn the Certified Wildlife Habitat® designation from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) in the United States. The Pollinator Garden is designed to provide a stable habitat for pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies, whose populations have declined due to climate change.

Additionally, residents and employees who returned electronic waste were offered free meal coupons. The collection covered a wide range of electronic products, from large appliances like TVs to smaller gadgets like speakers and keyboards, facilitating the convenient disposal of electronic waste and contributing to resource recycling and carbon neutrality.
