Canon announced on Monday that five of its product designs have won main prizes at the prestigious 2025 iF Design Awards.

The German-based iF Design Award, renowned as one of the world’s top three design awards, annually evaluates and recognizes entries based on design innovation and sustainability. This year, more than 11,000 works from 66 countries were submitted.

The award-winning Canon products include the EOS R1, EOS R5 Mark II, RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, RF10-20mm F4 L IS STM, and RC-IP1000 remote camera controller.

The EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II cameras boast enhanced image performance, featuring powerful sensor engines and cutting-edge deep learning-based autofocus technology. The RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens is a high-performance standard zoom option with exceptional optical quality and stable focus maintenance.

A Canon official said, “Canon has consistently secured iF Design Award main prizes for 31 consecutive years since its first win in 1989. We have proven our position as a global leader in product design excellence.”
