Lenovo unveiled its cutting-edge gaming laptop, the Legion 9i, at Tech World Shanghai 2025 on Wednesday.
The Legion 9i boasts an impressive 18-inch PureSight display with up to 4K resolution. Its innovative 2K 3D option allows users to experience 3D content without the need for a separate display. The advanced 3D screen incorporates eye-tracking technology and a lenticular lens, delivering an immersive 3D experience without special glasses.
Lenovo’s 3D Studio enables users to enjoy a wide range of content in 3D, including videos, images, and live streams. The system also supports over 30 games and game development applications in 3D.

The integration of AI workflows has made game development more accessible. Lenovo’s AI Core Chip and AI Engine+ automatically optimize performance based on specific usage scenarios, enhancing overall efficiency.
The Legion Space feature uses AI to synchronize RGB lighting with game audio and visuals, creating a more immersive gaming environment. The laptop also includes a powerful 6 speaker sound system, along with AI-driven features such as Game Coach, Game Clip Master, and Game Companion.
The Legion 9i’s hardware specifications are truly impressive. It features four RAM slots and four SSD slots (including one PCIe Gen 5), allowing for expansions of up to 192GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM and 8TB of SSD storage.
Powered by an Intel Corporation Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, the Legion 9i delivers a combined CPU and GPU performance of up to 280W. To manage heat and noise effectively, the laptop employs the Lenovo Legion Coldfront cooling system, which uses dedicated cooling fans for each component.
Lenovo plans to showcase the Legion 9i at the upcoming Unreal Fest in Orlando, Florida, this June.
