LG Electronics announced on August 24 that it will showcase tailored laundry solutions for diverse business-to-business (B2B) customers at The Clean Show 2025, North America’s largest exhibition for the laundry and textile care industry. The company aims to expand its fast-growing global commercial laundry appliance business, especially in North America and Europe.

Clean Show is a premier global B2B exhibition in the laundry and textile care industry, drawing representatives from more than 9,000 companies worldwide annually. Since launching its global commercial laundry appliance business with small-capacity products in the U.S. in 2008, LG Electronics has actively participated in major international exhibitions, including the U.S. Clean Show and Germany’s Texcare.

This year’s Clean Show will run for four days starting on August 23 in Orlando, Florida. LG Electronics has established an exhibition space of approximately 231 square meters (about 2,486 square feet). The company will display its commercial laundry appliance lineup, which ranges from the large-capacity LG Professional series to small-capacity drum washers and dryers, as well as top-loading washing machines.

The LG Professional series features a diverse lineup including washers, dryers, and washer-dryer combos. These appliances incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) technology that analyzes laundry loads to determine optimal washing and drying cycles.

The washing machines precisely detect drum vibrations and rotations, optimizing movement to reduce washing time even for large loads. The dryers utilize an inverter heat pump with low-temperature dehumidification, offering higher energy efficiency and less fabric damage compared to traditional heating methods.

At this year’s Clean Show, LG Electronics will also introduce integrated management solutions designed for the varied business environments of its B2B customers. These include the dedicated commercial laundry appliance app Laundry Crew and examples of utilizing Apple application programming interfaces (APIs).

Laundry Crew enhances energy efficiency and management convenience through features such as remote device control, error notifications, and smart diagnostics. The company recently updated its multinational payment module to facilitate global expansion, and improved the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).

The API acts as a digital bridge that enables different software to exchange data and share functionalities. It was designed for B2B customers who already have their own management solutions and may find it challenging to use Laundry Crew. LG Electronics supports these customers in developing and implementing unique management solutions tailored to their specific needs through the API.

LG Electronics plans to accelerate the growth of its commercial laundry appliance business by expanding the LG Professional series, which was first launched in the Korean market this year, to North America and Europe within the year. The company began supplying commercial washing machines to CSC ServiceWorks, the leading laundry solution provider in the U.S., this year, following its supply to Washify, the second-largest provider, last year.

According to market research firm SkyQuest, the global commercial laundry market is projected to reach approximately 10.8 billion USD by 2032. The demand for commercial laundry services is particularly high in the U.S. and Europe, where many multi-family residential facilities, such as apartments, often use communal laundry spaces or laundromats rather than installing laundry rooms in each unit.

Lyu Jae-cheol, head of LG Electronics’ Home Appliance & Air Solution Business Division, stated that the commercial laundry market, with its clear growth potential, is vital for the qualitative development of their appliance business. Further noting that it will continue to expand in the U.S. B2B home appliance market by leveraging our premium commercial laundry appliance lineup, differentiated by AI and high efficiency.
