Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with world-renowned instrument brand Fender to launch the guitar learning platform Fender Play TV Apple lication on Samsung televisions (TVs).
Samsung TV users can now experience professional instrument instruction on a large screen at home, rather than being confined to the small displays of mobile devices or tablets.
Fender, founded in 1946 in the U.S., is a leading manufacturer of musical instruments including guitars, basses, and amplifiers. The company has produced iconic guitars favored by rock legends such as Eric Clapton, Kurt Cobain, and Buddy Holly.
The Fender Play TV app features a curriculum designed for beginners, covering everything from how to hold a guitar to tuning techniques, chord playing, and reading tablature.
Samsung TV users can choose to learn their preferred instrument from a selection that includes electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, or ukulele.
Lee Hun, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display (VD) Division, stated that they will continue their collaboration with Fender to seamlessly integrate music playing into daily life through Samsung TVs.
