Samsung Electronics is set to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25. Leaked renderings and specifications suggest that the hardware, barring the mobile processor (AP), will largely mirror its predecessor.

On Thursday, industry insiders reported that tech influencer Evan Blass revealed official rendering images of the Galaxy S26 series through Leakmail.

The leaked images show three models: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, available in four colors: Black, White, Sky Blue, and Cobalt Violet. Samsung.com will exclusively offer two additional colors: Silver Shadow and Pink Gold.

German tech outlet WinFuture published a detailed spec sheet for the Galaxy S26 series, obtained from European retail channels.

The report confirms that the base and Plus models will feature Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will sport Qualcomm Incorporated’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th generation processor.

All models will come with 12GB of random access memory (RAM) standard, with 256GB or 512GB storage options. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to offer a premium 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant.

Display sizes will be 6.3, 6.7, and 6.9 inches, all using Dynamic active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) 2X panels. The base model will feature Full high definition (HD) resolution, while the Plus and Ultra models will boast 3K resolution. All three will support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera specs remain largely unchanged from the previous generation, with minor tweaks to the Ultra model. While sensor resolutions stay the same, the Ultra’s main camera aperture has been widened from F1.7 to F1.4.

Battery capacities see minimal changes. The Plus and Ultra models retain their 4,900 mAh and 5,000 mAh batteries, respectively. The base model gets a slight bump to 4,300 mAh, up 300 mAh from its predecessor.

The most significant upgrade comes in charging speeds. The base model will support 25W charging, the Plus model 45W, and the Ultra model will introduce 60W fast charging – a first for the series.

Despite rumors, Samsung has not integrated MagSafe-like magnets into the devices. However, users can still enjoy Qi2 wireless charging with compatible magnetic cases, at 15W for base and Plus models and 25W for the Ultra.

Samsung is expected to increase prices for the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea by at least 99,000 KRW (approximately 68 USD). Despite rising memory costs, the popular pre-order Double Storage promotion is likely to continue.
