LG Electronics (066570) has unveiled its 2026 LG OLED Evo, featuring the third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor with a 5.6-fold improvement in AI performance. The new model achieves up to 3.9 times brighter display and incorporates ultra-low reflection technology.

On March 25, LG held a product showcase at Ground 220 in Seoul’s Yangpyeong-dong, introducing the 2026 LG OLED Evo under “The Next OLED” vision.

Delivering Unparalleled Brightness: ‘The Next OLED’
The 2026 LG TV lineup comprises the LG OLED Evo and LG Micro RGB Evo series. The OLED Evo models feature Hyper Radiant Color technology, the pinnacle of LG’s picture quality expertise.

Hyper Radiant Color technology combines the third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor, which delivers unprecedented brightness and color, with a premium reflection-free display that minimizes light reflection without compromising picture quality.

The new models boast up to 3.9 times the brightness of standard OLED TVs (B6 model), making them the brightest in LG’s OLED lineup. The Hyper Bright Booster meticulously analyzes and enhances brightness for each on-screen scene.

The third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor, with its 5.6-fold improvement in AI performance, achieves superior brightness and color reproduction. Its AI Dual 4K Upscaling optimizes color, contrast, and overall picture quality, transforming lower-resolution content into stunning 4K visuals.

Enhanced Color Accuracy with Minimal Light Reflection

The new models dramatically reduce light reflection, perfecting The Next OLED’s picture quality. They are the first in the industry to receive Intertek’s Reflection-Free Premium certification for ultra-low reflection displays.

Unlike conventional anti-glare technologies that scatter or diffuse light, potentially degrading image quality, the Reflection-Free Premium technology effectively eliminates light reflections.

This approach reduces light reflection by half compared to previous methods, ensuring accurate color representation, including perfect blacks, in any lighting condition, thus enhancing viewer immersion.

The new lineup also promises a differentiated audio experience. It supports Dolby Atmos Flex Connect, which automatically detects speaker placement and optimizes spatial audio, regardless of speaker positioning.

An LG representative noted that when paired with the new LG Sound Suite home audio system, users can experience theater-like dimensionality and immersion in any space.

AI-Powered Content Creation: Expanding the ‘AI TV’ Experience
The 2026 LG TV lineup evolves into more sophisticated AI TVs. Users can create and enjoy personalized artwork and background music using generative AI through LG Gallery+, the TV’s art content service.

The AI Concierge analyzes user preferences to provide tailored search keywords and customized content recommendations. LG TV’s five enhanced AI features – AI Search, AI Chatbot, AI Custom Screen and Sound Wizard, Voice ID, and others – are designed to cater to individual user needs.

LG has integrated Google Gemini alongside Microsoft Copilot in its proprietary smart TV platform, webOS26. This multi-AI approach allows users to choose their preferred AI for personalized search capabilities.

The webOS platform incorporates LG Shield, the company’s proprietary security system, which comprehensively protects products, personal information, and data through systematic processes and advanced technology.

An LG spokesperson announced that the 2026 LG OLED TV models will be launched sequentially in global markets, starting with South Korea.

The 2026 LG OLED TV lineup offers sizes ranging from 42 to 97 inches. In South Korea, pricing starts at approximately 3.29 million to 3.79 million KRW (about (about 2,180 to 2,515 USD) for the 65-inch model, 5.69 million to 8.7 million KRW (about 3,770 to 5,770 USD) for the 77-inch model, and 7.9 million to 13 million KRW (about 5,240 to 8,630 USD) for the 83-inch model.

LG also plans to release the wireless wallpaper TV W6 and Micro Red, Green, Blue (RGB) TV, both featuring ultra-slim technology, within the first half of the year.

Responding to the bigger is better trend and growing demand for large, premium liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs, LG has expanded its lineup to include a 100-inch Micro RGB TV and a 115-inch Quantum Nanoemitting Diode (QNED) TV.

Park Hyung-se, President of LG Electronics’ Home Entertainment Company, emphasized that with the 2026 LG OLED, which offers superior picture quality compared to any existing TV, it aims to lead the next generation of OLED TVs and solidify the position in the global premium TV market.
