Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S26 Ultra has taken the top spot in smartphone evaluations conducted by consumer organizations across seven major European countries.

According to Samsung Electronics, the Galaxy S26 Ultra received the highest ratings from consumer groups in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Sweden. These include Which? in the UK, Que Choisir in France, Altroconsumo in Italy, OCU in Spain, Deco Proteste in Portugal, Test Achats in Belgium, and RAD&RON in Sweden. These organizations are non-profit entities that provide consumers with expert analyses comparing product performance and prices. The evaluations were conducted following the launch of the Galaxy S26 series on March 11.

Notably, the Galaxy S26 Ultra earned the prestigious ‘Best of Test’ designation from experts in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Belgium, recognizing it as the top product in those markets.

The UK consumer organization Which? ranked the Galaxy S26 Ultra first with a score of 87, noting its outstanding performance in all laboratory tests. They particularly praised the security features of the new Privacy Display. The Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25+ shared second place with scores of 85.

In France, Que Choisir also named the Galaxy S26 Ultra as the top smartphone with a score of 17.0. They highlighted its exceptional photo detail, vibrant colors, and successful low-light performance. The organization added that the video quality, with minimized shake in horizontal stabilization mode, is also excellent.

Italy’s consumer group Altroconsumo awarded the Galaxy S26 Ultra a score of 84, tying it for first place with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. They commended the device’s impressive battery life of about 51.5 hours and its fast charging capabilities – 60W wired and 25W wireless. The group also praised the Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) feature that enables image editing through text descriptions.

Spain’s consumer organization OCU described the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a phone without drawbacks, lauding its exceptional durability, display quality, battery life, and camera performance.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S26 Ultra was honored with the Best in Show award at the Mobile World Congress 2026 held in Barcelona, Spain, last month.
