Samsung Electronics is set to unveil a comprehensive gaming ecosystem encompassing personal computer (PC), console, and mobile platforms at the world’s largest gaming exhibition.

On Wednesday, Samsung will showcase a 7,200-square-foot (approximately 220 pyeong) exhibition space at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The display will feature a full suite of gaming devices, including monitors, televisions (TVs), mobile devices, solid-state drives (SSDs), and headsets.

Gamescom is the world’s premier gaming event, covering a wide array of platforms and genres, from PC and console to mobile, virtual reality (VR), motion control, and board games.

The event brings together the latest gaming trends and content, featuring everything from AAA titles developed by major studios to indie games created by small teams. It also showcases intellectual property from global streaming platforms, gaming hardware, and development software.

Under the slogan #PlaySamsung, Samsung has crafted four distinct exhibition zones: Odyssey, Galaxy, Gaming Hub, and T1. Visitors will have the chance to experience games in various environments tailored to each product’s unique features.

A Complete Arsenal of Gaming Monitors, SSDs, and Headsets
The Odyssey Zone offers visitors a chance to experience high-end gaming devices, with a focus on gaming monitors, SSDs, and headsets.

The lineup includes the world’s first 6K gaming monitor, the Odyssey G8, the 4K OLED Odyssey Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) G8 boasting a 240Hz refresh rate, and the glasses-free 3D Odyssey 3D monitor. Samsung will also showcase the high-performance 9100 PRO SSD for enhanced gaming experiences and the JBL Quantum 950 headset, which delivers tournament-grade audio quality.

The Galaxy Zone will highlight a mobile gaming ecosystem designed for quick and easy gaming on the go.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, both powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, delivering robust gaming performance. They’ll also introduce the Galaxy Buds4 Pro, featuring a low-latency gaming mode when paired with Galaxy devices, alongside new ultra-fast portable SSDs with cutting-edge interfaces.

Samsung has integrated artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Neural Frame Fusion technology into the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8. This innovation ensures smooth and stable performance during extended high-intensity gaming sessions.

In the Gaming Hub Zone, visitors can test drive the Samsung Gaming Hub through an OLED TV (S95H), Galaxy S26 Ultra, and JBL Quantum 650. The Samsung Gaming Hub allows users to dive into cloud gaming effortlessly, requiring only a TV or monitor without additional devices or downloads.

A T1 Zone has also been set up, offering visitors a chance to experience the actual gaming setup of the globally renowned esports team T1 through a special collaboration.

Samsung plans to expand partnerships with game developers, continuously broadening its range of supported games and applications.

Experience Korean Internet Cafe Culture and Compete in the Play Galaxy Cup
Samsung has transformed its entire exhibition booth into a unique space inspired by Korean internet cafe culture, allowing international visitors to immerse themselves in this aspect of K-culture.

To captivate visitors, Samsung has planned a variety of on-site programs and interactive events, including influencer gaming matches and new product unveilings.

Visitors can earn points by completing missions throughout the exhibition space after registering on the event’s web app. These points can be redeemed for popular Korean snacks.

An interactive event utilizing the glasses-free 3D Spatial Signage display will also be available. Visitors can select a player from T1, including the legendary Faker, and stand before the display to see themselves alongside their chosen player in a lifelike 3D environment.

On Thursday and Friday, the Samsung booth will host the Play Galaxy Cup (#PlayGalaxy Cup) World Finals, featuring PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile. The top ten teams from global qualifiers will battle it out to determine the ultimate champion.

The event will also feature special gaming matches with renowned gaming influencers, audience-participation racing programs, SSD influencer talks, and prize drawings, among other engaging stage programs.

On Thursday, Samsung will preview its entire 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, showcasing numerous world-first technologies, alongside the launch of new portable SSDs. Samsung.com will feature a dedicated Gamescom page, with promotions running across 22 major subsidiaries worldwide, including those in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Through the gaming ecosystem, it aims to deliver premium hardware and services that enable users to enjoy customized gaming experiences anytime, anywhere.
