HiDoc, a specialized health and medical media platform operated by Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s affiliate M Circle, has launched a global website in English, Japanese, and Indonesian, marking its expansion into international markets.

On Thursday, HiDoc announced that this global initiative aims to share health and medical content developed in South Korea with a worldwide audience, while also bolstering its competitive edge in the global content market. The platform now enables users in English-speaking countries, Japan, and Indonesia to access vital health information in their native languages.

To facilitate this global outreach, HiDoc has implemented a cutting-edge multilingual content automation system powered by artificial intelligence (AI) agents. This sophisticated system manages the entire process from content translation and review to localization and publishing through a content management system (CMS), with human experts conducting the final review for quality assurance.

The AI agent employed by HiDoc is an advanced system that autonomously determines and executes necessary tasks based on predefined objectives. It surpasses simple question-answering or sentence generation capabilities, offering the ability to automate complex workflows by seamlessly linking multiple tasks in sequence.

HiDoc harnesses this technology to analyze the context of original content, translate it into three languages, and automate the verification process for specialized terms, proper nouns, and numerical data prior to publication.

The company is also enhancing its review protocols to ensure the highest accuracy in medical and health content. It is expanding its team of language-specific translation reviewers and, for the Indonesian service, conducting monthly reviews with local experts to verify the appropriateness of medical terminology and expressions.

This innovative system is part of HiDoc’s one-source multi-use (OSMU) strategy, which aims to expand a single piece of content across multiple languages and platforms. By transitioning from traditional manual publishing methods, HiDoc plans to significantly improve content production efficiency and deliver timely health information to a global readership.

The global website will feature a wide array of content, covering topics such as disease symptoms and causes, diagnostic and treatment information, preventive healthcare, nutrition and diet, exercise, and mental health. HiDoc aims to strike a balance between expertise and accessibility by leveraging its existing content creation capabilities, including interviews and consultations with leading medical professionals.

Lee Chan-ran, HiDoc’s publisher and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of M Circle, stated that the launch of this global website represents a significant milestone for HiDoc in the mission to share the accumulated medical expertise and health content with readers worldwide. It’s committed to expanding the global service offerings beyond written articles to include video content, with the ultimate goal of evolving into a comprehensive health and medical media platform accessible to people around the globe.
