Samsung Electronics announced on Thursday that it will launch its new 2025 all-in-one washer-dryer, the “Bespoke AI Laundry Combo,” starting this Friday. This new product boasts Korea’s largest washing and drying capacity and a range of convenient features.
The 2025 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo sets a new standard in Korea with its impressive 55-lb washing and 40-lb drying capacity. Samsung has increased the drying capacity by 6.6 lbs compared to previous models while maintaining the same exterior dimensions, significantly improving space efficiency.
By enhancing the heat exchanger fins and improving the efficiency of the preheating function through the drying heater, Samsung has cut drying time by approximately 20 minutes compared to the existing models. The Quick Wash lets users wash and dry a king-size comforter in just 79 minutes.
The Shirt Mode can wash and dry a single shirt in a mere 39 minutes, while the Single Item Wash dries and washes sweaty workout clothes in 49 minutes. Additionally, the energy consumption efficiency for washing has been improved by 45% beyond the top-grade minimum standard.
The 2025 Bespoke AI Laundry combo is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen “AI Home,” allowing users to easily navigate and control various modes and functions at a glance on the screen. The “3D Map View” provides a three-dimensional home layout, enabling convenient control of SmartThings-connected devices. Voice control is enhanced through an advanced version of Bixby, which now comprehends natural language commands more accurately.
The AI’s conversational abilities are impressive. For example, if a user asks, “What is the Persil Deep Clean Wash?” the machine will provide relevant information. If the user says, “Start that,” the AI will recall the previous conversation and initiate the appropriate cycle.
The 2025 Bespoke AI Laundry combo has improved functions, such as AI customization that assesses laundry weight, soil level, contamination, and moisture content; Auto Open Door, which automatically keeps the door open after washing or drying; and AI-powered automatic detergent dispensing.
The new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo will be available in a stylish range of colors: Dark Steel, Silver Steel, Greige, Black Caviar, and White. Pre-orders will be accepted from March 14 to 25 through Samsung.com and Samsung Stores. Depending on the chosen specifications, prices will range from 3,899,000 to 4,199,000 KRW (about $2,689 to 2,897).
To celebrate the launch, Samsung will hold an event and offer gift certificates worth 300,000 KRW (about $207) through a lottery. Buyers must share their product reviews on their social media accounts to enter.
