Toss Securities’ U.S. stock trading platform experienced another outage last night.

Industry sources reported on Thursday that shortly after the U.S. market opened for regular trading on Wednesday, users encountered a glitch on the Toss Securities mobile trading system (MTS) home screen. Stock listings and account balances suddenly became inaccessible.

This malfunction not only prevented investors from checking their balances but also made it impossible to sell their holdings. The disruption reportedly lasted approximately 20 minutes after the market opened.

This marks the second time in about two weeks that Toss Securities has faced issues with its U.S. stock trading service. A similar incident occurred on January 2, the first trading day of the new year, when order processing and execution were suspended. That earlier glitch coincided with the market opening and persisted for roughly 30 minutes.

Toss Securities issued a statement acknowledging a temporary issue where stock listings and balances were unavailable for viewing on the MTS.

The company promised to provide further details once they’ve identified the root cause and the full scope of the malfunction.
