North Korea has initiated the move-in process for Saebyeol Street, a newly developed area in Pyongyang’s capital district, designed to house families of veterans who served overseas.

The state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported on March 14 that residents have begun moving into Saebyeol Street, hailed as a new landmark and source of pride for Pyongyang. Officials attending the ceremony emphasized that it is the solemn duty as public servants to take full responsibility for the welfare and livelihoods of veterans’ families. This commitment reflects the nation’s moral obligation to honor those who sacrificed for the country.

Page 2 of the publication noted that Kim Jong Un responded on March 12 and 13 to congratulatory messages from the First Secretary of Cuba’s Central Committee and the President of Belarus, acknowledging his reappointment as General Secretary.
