K-pop sensation TWS has been hailed as a frontrunner in shaping the future of the global music industry.

Rolling Stone, the iconic American music magazine, unveiled its annual Future 25 list on its website on Wednesday. This coveted roster spotlights 25 game-changers – individuals, teams, and business leaders – who are expected to revolutionize the music landscape with their groundbreaking ideas.

Rolling Stone lauded TWS (comprising members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Ji-hoon, and Kyungmin) as one of the most captivating and dynamic young groups in today’s K-pop scene. The magazine highlighted their musical prowess, commanding stage presence, and model-esque visuals.

The publication further elaborated on TWS’s signature feel-good pop sound, characterized by nostalgic vibes, lush harmonies, and clever lyrics. They singled out “OVERDRIVE,” the title track from their fourth mini-album Play Hard, as a viral hit, and described the pre-release single “Head Shoulders Knees Toes” as an ear-catching, explosive track.

In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone, TWS shared their thoughts on the evolving nature of Boyhood Pop. The group emphasized its capacity to encompass a wide range of emotions – from exhilaration to tranquility, comfort to intense energy. They expressed their desire to channel positive vibes to their listeners through their musical endeavors.

This year’s Future 25 roster also features Grammy winner Lola Young, who clinched the Best Pop Solo Performance award at the 68th Grammy Awards, and Latin powerhouse Fuerza Regida, which swept four awards across the 2023 and 2024 Billboard Music Awards. TWS’s inclusion alongside these acclaimed artists solidifies their growing global influence.

In other news, TWS is set to connect with fans at their upcoming second fan meeting, TWS 2ND FANMEETING ’42:CLUB’ IN SEOUL. The three-day event will kick off on March 27 at the Ticketlink Live Arena (formerly the Handball Stadium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
