NCT 127 is set to make a bold comeback with their seventh studio album, showcasing their unwavering ambition.

SM Entertainment, the group’s agency, announced that NCT 127 will drop their new album BLINGY on August 24 at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time). The album boasts a diverse collection of nine tracks, including the eponymous title song, along with “Legacy” and “Step Up,” each offering a unique musical flavor.

“Legacy” is a dynamic hip-hop track that blends aggressive drum beats and distorted bass with layered choir vocals, rapid-fire rap, and melodic singing. The song’s message revolves around spreading positive energy, likened to light, across Seoul, the group’s home base.

Another standout track, “Step Up,” pays homage to the cool, heavy grooves of 90s hip-hop, delivering a dynamic rhythm with an old-school flair. The song exudes bold confidence, with the group vowing to overcome any obstacles or crises in their signature style.

Fans can look forward to purchasing physical copies of NCT 127’s seventh studio album BLINGY starting from August 24. Pre-orders are currently available at various online and brick-and-mortar music retailers.

NCT 127, which debuted in 2016 as NCT’s Seoul-based unit, consists of Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan. At present, Doyoung and Jungwoo are fulfilling their mandatory military service.
