BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to make her solo comeback on September 4.
On Tuesday, her label YG Entertainment announced that Jisoo unveiled the poster, countdown page, and teaser video for her new single “CLICK” on her official social media accounts the previous day.
The countdown clock, set against the backdrop of a mysterious amusement park, ticks towards 1:00 p.m. (Korean time) on September 4. The teaser video opens with Jisoo lifting an amusement park ticket, followed by various character dolls appearing on a dark screen, creating a stark contrast to the poster’s atmosphere.
“CLICK” marks Jisoo’s first release in about 11 months since her collaboration with pop star Zayn Malik on “EYES CLOSED” last October. The latter track successfully charted on the U.S. Billboard main single chart Hot 100.
Jisoo debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016, contributing to global hits such as “WHISTLE,” “PLAYING WITH FIRE,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “KILL THIS LOVE,” “HOW YOU LIKE THAT,” and “PINK VENOM.” She launched her solo career in 2023 and continues to pursue acting alongside her music endeavors.
