
BTS, the global K-pop sensation, has triumphantly concluded their North American tour, drawing an impressive crowd of approximately 1.92 million fans.
The septet wrapped up their tour with the BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN LOS ANGELES performances, held on September 1-2 and 5-6 (local time) at SoFi Stadium in California.
The North American leg of BTS’s tour encompassed 12 cities with 31 shows, selling out all venues and attracting around 1.92 million spectators. The four Los Angeles concerts were live-streamed on Weverse, the band’s fan communication platform, reaching viewers in 177 countries and regions worldwide.
The Los Angeles shows were particularly noteworthy, drawing over 282,000 attendees and shattering multiple records. Having previously performed four shows at the same venue in 2021, BTS has now become the act with the most concerts at SoFi Stadium, with a total of eight performances.
The cumulative audience for all eight shows at SoFi Stadium surpassed 496,000, cementing BTS’s status as the group that has attracted the largest audience since the stadium’s opening.
In recognition of BTS’s impact, Los Angeles officially declared September 1-8 as BTS Week. A proclamation ceremony held at City Hall on August 31 garnered significant attention, with representatives from the city council, Los Angeles Tourism Board, and Big Hit Music in attendance.
On September 1, the city offered a grand welcome by illuminating City Hall in the vibrant red hue associated with BTS’s new album ARIRANG.
Following their successful North American tour, BTS is set to embark on their South American leg. The group will kick off this portion with a performance in Bogotá, Colombia, on October 2, followed by shows in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo, where they’ll connect with their passionate South American ARMY.
Since their debut in 2013, BTS has consistently dominated global charts with hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance,” solidifying their position as the world’s premier boy group. Following their military service hiatus, the septet made a triumphant return with their fifth studio album ARIRANG in March, captivating fans worldwide with their new track “Swim.”
