Actor Song Kang is set to host a fan meeting in South Korea, marking his first such event in a year.
Namoo Actors, Song’s agency, announced on Wednesday that the 2026 Song Kang Fan Meeting: PLAY, SONG KANG IN SEOUL will take place on December 5 at 6:00 p.m. (KST) at the COEX Artium Woori Bank Hall.
This gathering holds special significance as it comes nearly a year after his previous domestic fan meeting, 2025 Song Kang Fan Meeting: ROUND TWO IN SEOUL, which followed his military service.
The event’s title, PLAY, SONG KANG, not only promises an enjoyable time with the actor but also suggests a nostalgic journey through his career highlights. It particularly resonates with the musical themes of his recently concluded tvN drama “Four Hands,” heightening anticipation for an event that will build on the show’s emotional impact.
The promotional poster features Song gazing intensely at the camera, with a clever design element incorporating the PLAY logo and transforming the A in KANG into a play button on a musical score, adding a playful touch.
A spokesperson for Namoo Actors shared that Song Kang is dedicating himself to creating unforgettable moments for his fan club, affectionately known as Songpyeon, despite his packed schedule. It hopes this fan meeting will be a meaningful experience for everyone involved and invite fans to look forward to it with great enthusiasm.
Song Kang first graced screens in 2017 with “The Liar and His Lover.” He has since become a household name through roles in popular series such as “Love Alarm,” “Sweet Home,” “Navillera,” and “My Demon.” Fans can next catch him in the upcoming MBC drama “White Scandal.”
