Deadpool and Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman stirred excitement with a surprise visit to the Gocheok Sky Dome to watch a baseball game.
Reynolds, Jackman, and Director Shawn Levy attended the 2024 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League baseball game between the LG Twins and Kiwoom Heroes at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 3rd.
Reynolds later posted on his social media account on the 3rd, “I didn’t expect to be watching a baseball game at this beautiful stadium in Seoul, Korea tonight, but here we are,” along with a photo of himself with Jackman and Levy.
Jackman also posted on his Instagram, saying, “Watching baseball on my Korea promo tour? If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up,” and shared a photo of himself watching baseball at Gocheok Sky Dome.
Reynolds and Jackman arrived in Korea on the 3rd ahead of the premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine. They are set to participate in a press conference at the Grand Ballroom of Four Seasons Hotel Seoul at 10 AM on the 4th and are also scheduled to attend the red carpet event at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul at 7 PM the same day.
Deadpool and Wolverine is a dopamine-fueled action blockbuster that unfolds when Deadpool, who has retired from the superhero life to live as an ordinary used car dealer, unexpectedly faces a massive crisis and seeks out Wolverine, his polar opposite in every way. This marks Deadpool’s official entry into the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Reynolds, as in the first and second installments, not only stars but also participates as a producer and screenwriter in this movie Jackman, who portrayed Wolverine for a remarkable 24 years in the X-Men series, returns to the Wolverine character for the first time in 7 years since Logan (2017).
Meanwhile, Deadpool and Wolverine is set to premiere on the 24th in South Korea.
