On the 11th, North Korea urged its workers to demonstrate extraordinary dedication and strong execution in the struggle to ensure the definitive completion of the five-year plan.

The Workers’ Party newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, emphasized this in a front-page editorial, stating, “Without being complacent with any interim achievements, all sectors, units, and regions must make greater strides.”

On the second page, it reported that new houses were provided in Rimok Farm, Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province, claiming, “Thanks to the party’s grace, both the people and the region have become exemplary.” The paper also praised North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s past guidance of the Pyongyang Primary School and the Kaesong Schoolchildren’s Palace, describing it as “a burning love for future generations.”

The third page emphasized that agricultural guidance institutions should responsibly lead farming as the leaders of the agricultural front. The newspaper particularly pointed out that “uniform guidance causes side effects” and urged for “practical and specific implementation.”

On the fourth page, it called for protecting crops against heavy rains and heatwaves during the rainy season. The newspaper emphasized that “the most important and critical issue to make this year a year of good harvest is to minimize the impact of disastrous abnormal weather.” It also reported that the agricultural machinery repair support team is actively working to secure grain.

On the fifth page, the newspaper highlighted a new lifestyle brought about by wheat harvest, stating, “The passion of people who want to process wheat for their diet has increased incomparably compared to the previous period.” It also praised this as a “new life and new landscape of socialist cultural rural life, born out of the warm love of Kim, who is dedicated to providing more civilized living conditions for the people.”

It also reported that each province is achieving results in expanding the emergency medical service command system. The newspaper conveyed, “Emergency command centers are being organized in each province, and a system is being established and actively operated to uniformly control and command the emergency medical services of hospitals and primary care prevention institutions at the provincial, city, and county levels.”

On the sixth page, it criticized the United States for expanding its areas of combat beyond traditional domains of land, air, and sea to include space, cyber, and electronic warfare. It claimed this was a product of hegemonic ambition designed to suppress the economic and military power of potential adversaries like Russia and China.
