Trash balloons launched by North Korea yesterday were found in northern Gyeonggi.

According to the Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency, 66 trash balloons were reported at 5 a.m. today. The police handed over 42 of these to the military.

The trash-carrying balloons were found in various locations: 19 in Uijeongbu, 11 in Paju, 10 in Yangju, one in Ilsan West, and one in Yeoncheon.

No casualties or property damage were reported concerning the trash balloons.

Most of the trash balloons found this time contained foul-smelling rubbish.

The total number of balloons sent by North Korea since last May has reached a total of 720.
