Stray Kids expressed, “All the members were united in heart; it’s touching,” regarding their re-signing with JYP Entertainment.

Stray Kids held a press conference at 11 a.m. on the 19th to mark the release of its new mini album, ATE, at the Conrad Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Bang Chan urged, “This is our first album of the year, and we’ve worked hard to solidify Stray Kids’ unique style, so please listen to it attentively.”

The new album, ATE, signifies “ate it up” or “will conquer everything.” “Ate up the stage” means captivating the audience with a spectacular performance. ATE creatively expresses the idea that all eight members will dominate the stage.

Lee Know said, “The most anticipated moment is the comeback. I’ve enjoyed preparing for it, and I’ll strive to ensure you feel like we ate it up.”

The title track, “Chik Chik Boom,” combines a Latin-style hip-hop rhythm with powerful performances. It’s laid-back yet robust, balancing restraint and impactful delivery.

The teaser for the previously released title track “Chik Chik Boom” featured Ryan Reynolds, a globally renowned actor and a fan of Stray Kids, drawing significant attention.

Stray Kids will release a digital single, “SLASH,” on the 23rd. The new song will be featured in the movie Deadpool and Wolverine, scheduled for release in South Korea on the 24th. Since the reveal of the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack, it has garnered considerable attention from fans of both movies and music worldwide.

Stray Kids recently renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment. Bang Chan expressed his excitement, stating, “I wanted to share this good news quickly,” and added, “Thanks to the unwavering support from STAY (the fandom name) and our company, we’ve envisioned a future we want to build together. The growth potential drove our decision.”

“Since all our members were in complete agreement and unity, as the team’s leader, I am truly grateful and moved by our members. Stray Kids has been portraying our story well since before our debut. There are many aspects of ourselves that we want to showcase in the future, and I see this opportunity as a fresh start,” he added.

ATE was released at 1 p.m. today.
