Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S25 Ultra was ranked first in Consumer Reports‘ latest smartphone evaluation for March.

Samsung announced on Tuesday that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has maintained the company’s winning streak, following last year’s Galaxy S24 Ultra by securing the highest rating in Consumer Reports‘ smartphone assessments.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra scored 87 points, tying for first place with Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+, launched alongside the Ultra model, earned 86 points, placing third alongside the Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In Consumer Reports‘ ten evaluation categories, the Galaxy S25 Ultra excelled, receiving the highest score of 5 points, including performance, rear camera image quality, display, durability, and ease of use.

Consumer Reports praised the device, stating, The S25 Ultra has one of the strongest and most versatile camera systems we’ve tested.” They added that it’s an ideal choice for consumers seeking a premium Android smartphone with top-tier camera capabilities and a large display.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s excellence isn’t confined to the U.S. market; consumer magazines in the United Kingdom and Denmark have also recognized it as the best smartphone.

In the UK, the consumer magazine, Which?, awarded the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25+ a score of 85, ranking them jointly at the top of their smartphone reviews.

Similarly, in Denmark, the consumer magazine Taenk also ranked the Galaxy S25 Ultra first on its smartphone list, scoring 84.

Which? praised the device, describing it as a large smartphone with powerful performance. They noted that it offers the latest Galaxy AI features and excels in every aspect, making it a highly recommended product and earning it a Best Buy selection.

Taenk echoed the sentiment, highlighting that the device features expanded Galaxy AI capabilities based on One UI 7 and is equipped with a powerful AP chipset, delivering outstanding performance test results.

These accolades from multiple countries underscore the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s global appeal and technological prowess in the highly competitive smartphone market.
