SEVENTEEN’s new special unit, Hoshi X Woozi, absolutely rocked their debut performance.

The duo debuted on Mnet’s M Countdown on Thursday, where they premiered their title track “Same Age Friend” along with the B-side “STUPID IDIOT” from their first single album.

True to Woozi’s promise of bringing a “real friend vibe,” the two effortlessly showcased their undeniable chemistry and commanding stage presence. Their smooth swagger and flawless live vocals proved why Hoshi X Woozi are true masters of live performance.

The two tracks highlighted the duo’s impressive versatility. While “STUPID IDIOT” captured the wild energy of a party, “Same Age Friend” displayed their refined charisma through confident lyrics and tight choreography. Interactive live moments, like shouting “Everybody jump!” added an extra spark to their already electric performance.

Their debut single album BEAM captures the vibrant energy both artists bring to the stage. The album shot straight to the top of the Hanteo Chart on its release day and has continued to make an impact globally, reaching No. 2 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Single Chart (as of Wednesday). The title track also maintained a strong presence on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart for four consecutive days following its release.
