
Hyundai Motor Group announced on Tuesday that it had won 26 awards at the 2025 iF Design Award, organized by Germany’s International Forum Design.
The group’s sweeping success at the iF Design Award, one of the world’s top three design accolades, highlights its global design competitiveness.
This year, Hyundai Motor Group won 26 main awards across various categories: Product, Professional Concept, Communication, Interior Architecture, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), and Service Design.
In the Automobiles section of the product category, Hyundai’s Ioniq 9, The All-New Palisade, Inisium Concept, and Kia’s EV3 and Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept were recognized.
The Ioniq 9 is a large electric SUV with a sleek, boat-inspired exterior designed to reduce aerodynamic resistance while offering a spacious and inviting interior.
The Palisade emphasizes a bold and commanding presence, striking proportions on its side profile, and a solid, sculptural front design, integrating daytime running lights (DRL) and a robust grille.
The Inisium Concept, a hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicle, embodies Hyundai’s new design philosophy, “Art of Steel.” It emphasizes steel’s natural resilience while showcasing hydrogen’s pure yet powerful essence.
The EV3, built on Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy, combines a bold, rugged exterior with an interior that resembles a living space.
The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept integrates Genesis’s signature design elements into a race-inspired aesthetic, balancing refinement and boldness.
Other winners in the Product category include the DICE hydrogen-based personalized mobility platform, smart taxi indicator, global EV home charger, E-Pit fast charger, and multi-hanger set for vehicles.
The Genesis Neolun Concept and hydrogen-based autonomous mobility concept SPACE (Spatial Curated Experience) received awards in the Professional Concept category, recognizing forward-looking designs.
The Neolun, an ultra-large electric SUV, delivers a unique interpretation of “beauty in simplicity.” It blends luxury with innovation and expresses Genesis’s future design direction.
The SPACE concept is a public mobility solution that offers optimized seating and personalized interior spaces for passengers. Its cutting-edge multimedia feature enhances the in-transit experience by enabling access to diverse content.
Hyundai Motor Group’s robotics technology was also recognized. The ‘X-ble Shoulder’ wearable robot received an award in the Industrial category, while the ‘Electric Vehicle Automated Charging Robot (ACR) Service’ was honored in the Service Design category.
In the Communication category, Hyundai’s FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign, The All-New Santa Fe launch book, and an AD Creator for automotive dealers were recognized, showcasing the group’s excellence in brand marketing.
Kia’s 2024 CES exhibition booth and promotional video received awards in the Communication and Interior Architecture categories, while Hyundai’s booth design was honored in the Interior Architecture category.
The Genesis Magma Pavilion at the 2024 Goodwood Festival in the UK and the new Genesis Work Space at Hyundai’s Gangnam headquarters were also among the winners.
The IONIQ Lab in Bangkok, Thailand, which showcases the Ioniq brand’s advanced technology and lifestyle, received recognition for Interior Architecture and User Experience design. The Kia App was also awarded for its seamless digital integration in the user interface category.
