Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has maintained its top position in the global gaming monitor market for six consecutive years.

Market research firm IDC reports that Samsung Electronics captured a 21.0% revenue share in the global gaming monitor market (refresh rates of 144Hz or higher) last year.

Samsung Electronics continues to lead the gaming monitor industry with innovative products such as the Odyssey Ark, Odyssey OLED, and Odyssey 3D, featuring world-first technologies.

In the North American market, the company achieved a record-breaking 27.5% revenue share last year, securing the number one spot.

In March, Samsung Electronics hosted its eXperience 2025 event at the Fairmont Austin in Texas, where it showcased its latest gaming monitor lineups including the Odyssey 3D, Odyssey OLED G8, and Odyssey G9 and more.

Samsung Electronics also dominated the global OLED monitor market for the second year running, with a 34.6% revenue share in 2024.

IDC data shows that OLED monitor shipments surged to 1.24 million units last year, a staggering 16-fold increase from 2022. The company is bolstering its OLED offerings with the introduction of the Odyssey OLED G8 in both 27-inch and 32-inch variants.

The Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics affirmed that the company remains dedicated to advancing innovation, noting that it plans to continue developing products that deliver unmatched immersion in all types of gaming environments.
