According to Hyundai on Friday, the 2025 Best Hybrid and Electric Cars Awards were determined by the magazine’s editors, who evaluated 115 electrified models based on criteria such as quality, efficiency, and overall value. Five winners were selected in each of the hybrid and electric categories, for a total of 10 awardees.

The magazine praised the model for its style, spaciousness, and overall performance, highlighting improvements in the 2025 version such as an extended driving range on a single charge and the adoption of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, which has further enhanced its competitiveness.

The IONIQ 6 earned the title of Best Electric Car, receiving high marks for its industry-leading efficiency, long-range capability, and user-friendly infotainment system. The Tucson Hybrid was chosen as the Best Hybrid SUV, thanks to its stylish design, roomy interior, and solid fuel economy.
