North Korea has denounced the missile defense system Golden Dome, which U.S. President Donald Trump is promoting, as a space nuclear war script.

The Workers’ Party newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported on page 6 on Tuesday that the Foreign Ministry’s Institute for American Studies claimed in a memorandum that the U.S. missile defense system concept, regardless of its defensive designation, is raising significant concerns in the international community due to its inherently hegemonic and aggressive nature.

On the front page, the newspaper emphasized communist ideology and urged citizens to show loyalty. It stated that loyalty to the leader, dedication to the revolutionary cause, a spirit of service to the people, and a high sense of class consciousness are the most crucial ideological and spiritual traits. Farms in the Kangryong and Hongjin areas of South Hwanghae Province are currently planting rice using fresh water from the desalinated Kangryong Lake.

Page 2 featured a letter of appreciation from the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) to Party General Secretary Kim Jong Un, marking its 70th anniversary. An article titled “Communist Revolutionaries Are Just Fighters” stressed the importance of adopting the party’s ideology and intentions as guiding principles in work and life.

Page 3 introduced the contents of a Loyalty Notebook written by officials from the Huichon City Party Committee, encouraging commitment to a people-first society. The newspaper emphasized that for any official, the Loyalty Notebook is akin to a second certificate of qualification as a Workers’ Party official.

On page 4, the newspaper criticized officials’ empiricism and haphazard work attitudes, urging them to meet grain production targets. It stated that deeply rooted chronic bad habits among them have not been thoroughly overcome, adding that leading by example is the most powerful form of motivation.

Page 5 highlighted the importance of preparing for the implementation of the second comprehensive 12-year compulsory education program, set to begin next academic year. Ri Chang Dae, the Minister of State Security, departed for Russia on Monday to attend the 13th International Meeting of High-Level Representatives Responsible for Security Issues. A delegation from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived in Pyongyang on the same day.
