The National Security Office of the Blue House has classified North Korea’s launch of a ballistic missile into the East Sea as a provocative act violating United Nations (UN) Security Council resolutions and called for its immediate cessation.

Following confirmation of the missile launch, the National Security Office swiftly convened an Emergency Security Situation Review Meeting, attended by officials from the Department of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other relevant agencies.
