Celltrion expanded its global partnering activities and promoted its artificial intelligence (AI)-based drug development capabilities at the 2026 BIO International Convention (BIO USA) held in San Diego from June 22 to 25.

The company has participated in BIO USA for 17 consecutive years since 2010, using the event to expand its global network and present its technology and business strategy.

At this year’s event, Celltrion held more than 180 business meetings with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, marking the highest number of meetings it has recorded at the conference.

The company said its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and multispecific antibody (MsAb) programs were presented directly to potential partners, with discussions focused on co-development and technical collaboration.

Celltrion also highlighted its AI-based research capabilities, including AI-driven target discovery and portfolio expansion, next-generation multispecific antibody design, in silico developability assessment, and its data-driven research platform, Healthcare Intelligence Bank.

In addition, the company met with global partners in manufacturing and materials sectors to discuss potential collaboration in production efficiency and process technology. Further discussions are expected following the event.

A Celltrion official said more than 180 business meetings and over 2,000 booth visitors reflected increased global interest in the company’s programs.

The company added that interest extended beyond biosimilars to its ADC, multispecific antibody, and AI-based platforms.

More than 2,000 visitors attended the Celltrion booth during the event.

Celltrion also operated a “build-your-own keycap” event for survey participants, which received positive responses from attendees.
