NCT 127 has electrified fans with their latest track, “Piñata,” delivering a surge of high-octane energy.

On Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time), the group dropped the track video for “Piñata” on their official YouTube channel, offering a sneak peek into their forthcoming seventh studio album. The video paints a vivid picture of the members as urban problem-solvers in the heart of Seoul, tackling spectacular cases while navigating unexpected misunderstandings and internal conflicts. As the narrative unfolds, the group emerges stronger, bonded by mutual understanding and shared experiences.

“Piñata” is a genre-bending masterpiece that seamlessly fuses rock and hip-hop. The track boasts intense electronic guitar riffs, funky bass lines, and pulsating breakbeat drums. It’s a sonic representation of the group’s confidence in transforming any stage into an explosive festival – much like the burst of a piñata. The old-school-inspired, high-energy choreography is particularly striking. Fans can catch the live debut of this electrifying performance on August 14 at KCON LA 2026, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Since their 2016 debut, NCT 127 has been the Seoul-based unit of NCT, featuring Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan. Currently, Doyoung and Jungwoo are fulfilling their mandatory military service. Over the past decade, the group has consistently delivered chart-toppers like “Fire Truck,” “Cherry Bomb,” “Touch,” “Hero,” “Sticker,” “2 Baddies,” “Fact Check,” and “Walk,” captivating audiences with their distinctive neo sound and dynamic performances.

Mark your calendars: NCT 127 is set to drop their seventh studio album, “BLINGY,” on August 24. Following the release, they’ll embark on their fifth world tour, NEO CITY – THE REDLINE, kicking off in September.
