BTS has scored one of the biggest album successes in the UK this year with their fifth studio album, Arirang.

On July 16, the UK Official Charts unveiled their Top 40 Biggest Albums of 2026 list. This ranking combines sales data from physical compact discs (CDs), digital downloads, and both audio and video streaming from January to date. BTS’s Arirang clinched the 20th spot on this prestigious chart.

Arirang made a stunning debut, landing at number one on the UK Official Album Top 100 chart for the week of March 27 to April 2. The album has maintained strong popularity since its release. Recently, following BTS’s electrifying world tour concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the album saw a significant surge in the rankings, climbing to 21st place on last week’s chart (July 10-16). In the latest UK Official Chart (July 17-23), Arirang continues to impress, holding the 35th position on the Official Album Top 100. This marks an impressive 17 consecutive weeks on the chart.

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has consistently delivered chart-topping hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance,” cementing their status as a global pop phenomenon. Following a brief hiatus, the group returned with their fifth studio album Arirang in March, which dominated the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks. Currently, BTS is in the midst of a world tour, and fans are eagerly anticipating their performance at the halftime show of the 2026 International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) North and Central America World Cup™’ final on July 19.
